Ludacris Opens Chicken N Beer Restaurant In Atlanta Airport

Ludacris announced via Instagram that his Chicken and Beer restaurant opened today in Concourse D of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport.

“It took me three years, but it’s finally coming into fruition,” he said on IG. “Anything that’s worth waiting for is worth having. And we are finally here. Chicken and Beer. I’ve seen it come from my third album, triple platinum album, all the way to a restaurant. Concourse D, D-5. We open tomorrow, November 17th, in the busiest airport in the world, Hartsfield. I’m talking about great food, great drinks, great energy, and my employees are the best employees in the world!”

In the video, Christopher Bridges gives a quick tour of the establishment and asks at the end, “Where the waffles at?

The restaurant name is derived from Luda’s multi-platinum 2003 album Chicken-n-Beer, which spawned such singles as “Stand Up” and “Splash Waterfalls.” The menu features such Southern staples as shrimp and grits, fried chicken, catfish and pan fried steak.

Chris Luva Luva is just the latest rapper to delve into the restaurant business. Jay-Z, Drake and T.I. all own spots of their own.
