Machine Gun Kelly Still Finishes Concert After Being Punched 65 Times [Watch]

Cleveland’s own Machine Gun Kelly shocked fans at a recent concert when he suffered a suspected heart attack in the middle of his performance in Seminole, Florida.

TMZ released a video of MGK at the concert performing one of his big hits, “Bad Things” when suddenly, he was holding onto his chest. It was during this that he casually walked off stage to recover.

MGK later took to Instagram to assure fans he was not suffering from a heart attack or any other cardiac issues but instead was suffering from the repercussions of damage to his chest and rib cage.

“[F]or those who saw the TMZ post, here is what happened last night: I took some serious damage to my chest plate/ribs this week and during our 6th song last night I collapsed backstage and thought I was having a heart attack. what they didn’t report, was that I went back out and finished that show cuz we’re fuckin champions and it was my 27th birthday and nothing can take me away from the stage. ?????? #AlphaOmega #EST #XX #YoungGunner”

In his quick video, Kelly is seen being examined by medical professionals before being told, “don’t worry about the show.” Ignoring directions, MGK valiantly got back up and hit the stage to finish the concert.

According to reports, the “Wild Boy” rapper was injured while performing his own stunts for the forthcoming film, Captive State. The injury, which took place on April 21, when he tweeted that he was punched in the chest 65 times.

“Still on set. Got punched in the chest 65 times. Pretty sure I can’t breathe. Ready for this one to wrap.”

 

MGK is currently involved in shooting the Sci-Fi film in Chicago along with John Goodman and Vera Farminga.

He went back to Twitter to inform fans his is recovering and he appreciates the thoughts and concerns.
