Actress Maia Campbell has surfaced to tell her former co-star LL Cool J she’s doing well.

In a video posted to Instagram, Campbell appears in the video to be in a more stable condition than previously reported assures LL that she is not only fine but in the process of trying to get help for her issues with mental health.

“I am doing well, I just need a benefit concert for mental health. Please don’t TMZ me, I am doing fine. I have properties and I am a real estate investor so I am ok.”

Music executive Abdul Chestnutt also states that Maia is open and wants help with her mental issues and that the footage that recently appeared online was due to Campbell not taking her medication.

” We are getting her the help she needs. Thanks for not posting anything negative. She hadn’t received her meds, and was suffering from a psychotic episode. She actually wants help. Please keep her lifted up in prayer.”

Campbell had an illustrious career in the ’90s as a co-star on the hit sitcom “In the House.” The then crush of every young man seemed to have faded into obscurity before resurfacing in 2012 in a sit-down with Iyanla Vanzant to discuss having bipolar disorder and overcoming the pain of losing her mother six years prior.

After seeing the message from Campbell, LL responded with a tweet saying, “You can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped.”
