The beef between Soulja Boy and Quavo wages on, and it has probably extended from the vocal booth and social media onto the streets. Earlier today, the Crank Dat rapper reposted an Instagram pic of a chain which he claims to have belonged to the Quavo.
Instagram user @topshottaaya posted the pic from his private account and tagged SB, who then shared the picture to his three-and-a-half million followers. Under SB’s post, the user makes replies, “Yeah I got his chain,” “Tell him if he want his chain HMU” and “Tell quack HE AINT NEVER GETTIN HIS CHAIN BACK.
SB then posts a picture of his wearing the chain in question with the caption “If Quavo want his chain back tell him to come get it #BigSoulja.”
The two rappers began beefing apparently after Quavo took sides with his label mate Lil Yachty over another beef. On Monday, Soulja shared screenshots on Instagram of an apparent text message conversation with the Migos rapper about “fake kicking it.” As the conversation escalated, SB claims to introduce Quavo to Sean Kingston and Travis Scott. He then threatens Quavo with physical violence.
The two rappers apparently did not meet up so Soulja Boy released a diss track called “Fuck Quavo” where he threatens the rapper with an AK-47. He also shared a video for the song, pointing an arsenal of guns at the camera.
Quavo never responded.
