Meek Mill Arrested for Felony Reckless Endangerment, Charge Dropped

Prosecutors opted out of filing felony reckless endangerment charges against Meek Mill being arrested last night (August 17) for popping wheelies in Harlem, TMZ reports.

The celebrity media outlet reported that that Philly rapper was performing tricks on his motorcycle while shooting a music video. After being questioned in an Upper Manhattan Precinct, he was eventually arrested and charged.

It is still unclear to why the charges were dropped. According to Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, the case was ridiculous from the very beginning because the incident happened right in front of the cops who did nothing to stop it. And while felony charges were dropped, he now faces an undisclosed misdemeanor charge.

Meek’s legal situation from the incident stemmed after a video of the incident appeared on social media, which later made it to the NYPD. See video below.

As previously reported in other Meek Mill news, he released a black-and-white video for his song “Price”, which is the last track on his newly released album, Wins & Losses. In the song Meek raps, “This the price of having money and the price of being great. Had to cut a couple homies, never heard them tell me thanks. I’ve been washing all my problems with these perks and all this drank.”
