Meek Mill Denies Involvement in Safaree Getting Jumped

Even though Safaree swears that Meek Mill has his goons jump him Friday (June 23) outside of a day party hosted a DJ Khaled in West Hollywood, the Dream Chaser boss contends that he had no involvement in that incident.

TMZ caught up with the Philly native in Beverly Hills on Saturday (June 24) and asked about the scuffle. Initially, Meek acted as if he didn’t know what they were talking about. When asked about Safaree, Meek repeatedly asked, “Who?” and dodged the question, saying, “I’m standing back today. I got my hitters with me. I ain’t coming close to no cameras.”

After the paparazzi’s persistence, he finally added, “Ain’t no beef.”

When asked about fighting one on one with his enemy, he replied, “If I ain’t got no love for him, we ain’t putting no gloves on…I’m a boss. I’m a don. I don’t even fight. I don’t know how they got us confused with that type stuff, man.”

As previously reported, Nicki Minaj’s alleged ghostwriter is seen talking with several people when Meek Mill’s SUV pulls up and the MMG rapper can’t hide the smirk and acts surprised as his goons went for the hunt like the Dream Chaser boss hadn’t fed them in weeks.

Despite a few licks and another guy catching some blows too, Safaree still came out clean and shining in his all white gear as he fled from the attack.
Scaff Beezy then hit up social media, posting a video, saying,

“Listen, straight up, I hopped out the whip. Saw Meek, he hopped out the whip. Then I just got snuck. Niggas jumped me. A whole bunch of niggas. Meek, you are the biggest pussy on this planet. You saw me. You ain’t do shit. You got your niggas to jump me. One-on-one, you can’t fuck with me. So that’s why you had to do that. Niggas caught me from the back. Niggas caught me from the side. All that.”

During the commotion, New York’s Power 105.1 radio personality DJ Self was also on the scene. As a result, rumors have been floating around that the record spinner also had something to do with Safaree getting stole on. But he denies any involvement and took to Instagram to set the record straight.

“To protect my name and my brand, I feel like I have to address this,” he said in a video post. “It was an issue that happened yesterday, and both parties are good friends of mine. I rock with both of them, and I do not like to get in between people’s beef. And if I do, I like to squash it as opposed to provoke it. Now, it was no way, now how where I could ever line somebody up or set somebody up. First of all it was impossible for me to do that because I didn’t know that either party was gonna be there. When I got up there, I saw one of my friends, and I was talking to him…then another friend pulled up, and it just happened.”
