Meek Mill Teases New Music on Instagram

Only three days away from releasing the “free pack” of music in celebration of his 29th birthday, Meek Mill teased an unreleased track on Instagram this morning (May 3). The Philly rapper did not reveal the name of the track, when it will officially be released or how fans can cop it.

Over cryptic production of hypnotic piano chords and lead guitar, he vents in the introduction, “Every since I got money, I ain’t been happy like I used to. They say you gotta pay the cost to be the boss. When you the nigga with the money (and) somebody go to jail, you gotta pay they bail. Somebody die, they gone turn to you for the funeral. But I just be thinking like ‘when I’m gone be able to turn to somebody? Shit. Bosses got feelings too.”

After going deep into his feelings, Meek rhymes passionately about the misfortunes of success.

Oh this the price of being great! 🤔

Just last week, he took to Instagram to share a video of him and his boys listening to another unreleased. Under the post, Meek tagged Miami Heat guard Dion Waters and announced that he would be dropping a “free pack” for his 30th birthday on May 6. He didn’t specify whether it would be a full mixtape, EP or just a handful of song. Whatever his plans may be, fans are eagerly awaiting.

When I left Hollywood @waiters3 🔥 free pack on may 6th 😁
