Looking something like a pimp with his long perm and three-piece suit while persuasively uttering the words, “Scary world out here, baby,” Method Man is set to play a role in upcoming HBO series The Deuce. The cable network recently shared a preview trailer for the series, which is set to premiere on September 10.
Set in New York City during the 1970s and 1980s, the drama series explores Manhattan’s world of porn and prostitution. See trailer below.
No stranger to the big screen, Meth has also played roles in How High (2001), The Fast and the Furious (2001) and 8 Mile (2002). In addition to his role on The Deuce, he is also co-host of TBS rap battle series Drop the Mic with model Hailey Baldwin.
The show pits four stars from the worlds of entertainment, music, sports and pop culture against each other in a rap battle royale packed with “I can’t believe they just said that” moments. At the end of each head-to-head battle, the studio audience will vote to pick the winner.
Meth is also currently on tour with Snoop Dogg and Redman.
