Metro Boomin’ broke the news that his highly anticipated collaborative project with XO recording artist Nav finally has a release date. Fans have been waiting for months to see this project come to fruition and that day has finally come. Perfect Timing is expected to drop on July 21 but, fans will be treated to sneak peek into what’s to come this week. “Call Me” and “Perfect Timing Intro” are the first offerings from the project and will be available this week.
Earlier this year, Nav inked a deal with The Weeknd‘s XO label and Republic Records. Following the announcement of his signing, Nav dropped a self-titled mixtape that featured his label boss, The Weeknd and served as his debut into the mainstream. Metro Boomin’ has also had a productive year thus far. He’s been making hits with hip hop’s biggest stars like Drake, Offset, 21 Savage, Future, Gucci Mane and Kodak Black. Last month, Metro announced the launch of his label Boominati Worldwide, saying “Launching Boominati Worldwide is the next step in my career as a producer, an artist, and a businessman, I created the label to represent a collective of highly-gifted individuals who have the shared gift of being able to influence the world through culture and art.”
