“As promised. No video required. No audio required. Just a picture for proof. We are good,” Sharpe commented on his Instagram post of him and the Indianapolis native shaking hands. “He didn’t know I was coming,” Epps told IndyStar. “I showed up and I showed him love. We hugged. We shook hands. We talked and settled our differences as grown men.”

“I said, ‘We’re two Black men. I’m not going to ever hurt you. And you should never want to hurt me,” Epps said of the Thursday meeting. “I made a mistake. He accepted my apology and let’s move on.” The lip wrestling started when Epps make Sharpe the butt of some jokes during a recent stand-up. Epps claimed he was invited to Club Shay Shay but turned it down out of fear that Sharpe, who Epps insinuated is gay, would try to push up on him. “That n-gga Shannon Sharpe called me trying to do an interview,” Epps said. “I said, ‘No, Madea. I ain’t doing no interview, so you can sit across from me and look at my balls when I’m sitting down.” “I thought he was going to attack Katt,” Epps continued. “The n-gga’s sh-t is called Shay Shay. The n-gga telling you. Put a wig on that n-gga and tell me if that ain’t…Madea’s sister.”

Sharpe wasn’t having any of that. “Now when I see you, I’m going to see if you really about that,” Sharpe sent a social media kite to Epps during his Nightcap sports talk show with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. “Say my name again…I got something for your ass.”

Epps quickly shot back in a video response to the ex-NFL star. “You gone be at the All-Star. I’mma be at the All-Star,” he said. “And I’mma see you.”

Epps, the 53-year-old Indianapolis native, is hosting the Thursday night kick-off to the weekend and Sharpe, 55, is coaching one of the teams in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday. On Thursday, Epps pulled up on Sharpe, and they squashed their beef.

Epp said he is working to appear on Sharpe’s popular “Club Shay Shay” podcast. “I’m going to do an interview with him,” Epps said. “I don’t know when that’ll be. But we’re talking and we’re trying to figure it out.”
