Nicki Minaj is not only back on the scene, but she’s everywhere right now.
After dropping her latest three singles, “No Frauds”, “Regret in Your Tears” and “Changed It”, and an appearance on Jason Derulo‘s new single “Swalla,” Nicki’s back and teaming up with David Guetta for his new single “Light My Body Up.”
After dropping several teasers, Guetta reconnects with his “Hey Mama” collaborator for the trap-EDM track, which has been released via a lyric video. Although many would love to hear Nick spit, this single features the Young Money queen singing on the record while dropping a few bars seemingly taking shots at Remy Ma. Despite Remy calling a truce, it seems Nicki is playing catch up as she spits:
“Got bars for years, I hope you send me a letter / Know she’ll never be queen, so now she got a vendetta / I ain’t talkin’ ’bout David when I say I’ma Guetta.”
Nicki isn’t the only Young Money artist featured on the track., Guetta teamed up with Lil’ Wayne as he does his usual thing on the auto-tune heavy verse dropping lines like, “Keep it tight-tight / Take this D, go night-night / Go so far downtown on you, I lose Wi-Fi.”
