Fans may be in store for an added musical treat this summer from Barbie and the Baddest Bitch. Earlier today (June 22), both Nicki Minaj and Trina hinted around a potential collaboration.
First, Trina tweeted lyrics from Nicki’s collaboration with 2 Chainz, “Realize:” “A lot of these ni**az tell real lies , dey ain’t about shit in REAL life.”
Then, Nicki quoted the Miami mami some added with words of her own, “I see no lies when the baddest bitch speaks. Can’t wait for them to hear our new… nvm.”

Recently, it was announced that Trina is also teaming up with Trick Daddy for another much-anticipated collaboration album. The two reportedly signed a deal with Slip-N-Slide Records for a collaboration project between the two veteran rappers.
“So we bringing the city back,” he said in an interview with Mass Appeal. “I just want this Trick & Trina record to be classic. I’m going to turn the Diamond Princess back to the Baddest Bitch.”
The Miami natives first collaborated on Trick’s 1998 breakthrough hit single “Nann Nigga,” which landed the label a distribution deal with Atlantic Records and forever changed the sound of their city. Although the two never released an entire album together, they frequently collaborated for song on each other’s projects.
“[The collaboration album is] just something the fans always wanted, and now we’re officially going to make it happen,” Slip-N-Slide CEO Ted Lucas said. “Trick put Miami on the map with gangsta music, which was different from all perspectives. When Miami was known for booty shaking, Trick was able to change the culture of what people thought about of Miami music, and Trina was able to put female rappers on the map. We’re excited about it, and looking forward to it.”
