Since the sudden and tragic passing of the late Bankroll Fresh, Atlanta rapper No Plug has become one of the most infamous pariah in Hip-Hop. Now, in a recent interview with HipHopDX, he says that he regrets that the incident ever happened and misses him.

After the unexpected death of Fresh, No Plug’s perception had gotten worse after an interview with VladTV where he explained his side of the story, revealing that Fresh was killed out of self-defense. Bankroll Fresh’s uncle responded to the interview in an open letter, calling Vlad a “culture vulture”. Eventually, news outlets released the security footage that proved No Plug was telling the truth. One of his closest friends, 21 Savage was the only person at the time who defended him from the beginning.

No Plug tells HipHopDX that after enduring the intense level of heat he garnered from the unfortunate incident, tensions have simmered and things have gotten better for the “Fuck A Deal” rapper.

“It’s way better,” he said. “During the Hi-Horsed Tour, it took me to another level and now we have this tour. It was worse at first, but it’s gotten way better.”

After admitted to receiving tons of threats on social media, No Plug expresses that he regrets what happened between him and his close friend and he deeply misses Bankroll Fresh.

“It really was a whole bunch of Instagram/Twitter little kids who didn’t know what was going on,” said No Plug. “It wasn’t no real street niggas that was making threats to my life or some shit. You can’t get that involved with you because they don’t know me and his situation and how close we really was. It’s cool. I miss that nigga, though.”

No Plug has plans on releasing a new mixtape in honor of the late Atlanta legend, Shawty Lo entitled Culinary Arts School with appearances from MigosOffset and Ralo among many others.
