Surprise! October London Releases “Not Your Average Album” [Listen]

R&B Newcomer October London has been putting in some major work.

Fresh off the release of his EP Color Blind: Hate & Happiness in April, London surprised fans with the release of his album Not Your Average Album via Soundcloud last week.

The R&B/Soul singer and songwriter from South Bend, Indiana,  is currently signed to Snoop Dogg and Jazze Phe‘s label imprint, Cadillac Music. You may recognize his voice from Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party (he sings the theme song) or you may recognize his face from his appearance on FOX’s hit television series, Empire.  One

Once you get a taste of October London’s smooth sounds and his talent, his future seems to speak for itself. With comparisons to legendary soul crooners like Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye, London is sure to make an impactful mark on R&B music today.

In other October London news, the crooner teamed up with Snoop Dogg on Monday (Jun 12) for the release of his new video, “Revolution.”

In the new video, the Hip-Hop veteran covers issues that are going on today dealing with police brutality and discrimination by police towards African Americans.
