A month after suffering multiple injuries in a car accident, Atlanta rapper OG Maco revealed the loss of an eye via the rapper’s social media accounts.
According to his tweets, the damage included “multiple skull fractures, broken orbital (surgery next week), cracked vertebrae (surgery next week) and heart palpations.” But he added, “I feel ALIVE!!!”
In weeks following the accident, Maco has provided updates on his medical condition via social media. “Y’all bastards had all these jokes like I really didn’t lose a eye real quick,” he wrote on Wednesday. “I don’t mind.” “For now my eye is gone,” he continued. “Tonight I might get it back with surgery. Just remember we are HUMAN before and after you kick us while we down.”
He continued on a positive note: “On the bright side, my plastic surgeon says I can’t get any uglier so fixing my face should be easy,” he joked.
