Outlawz Say Tupac Wanted to Squash Beef with Biggie Just His Before Death

The beef between the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur is undoubtedly the most talked-about feuds in the history of hip-hop. Amid the diss records back and forth, fire-fueling radio, tv and magazine interviews and shootings, misunderstandings between two rappers sparked bad blood from the East Coast to the West.

Although it has been more than 20 years since we lost both Pac and Big, there are still questions and conflict behind their lives and deaths. In a recent interview on Sway’s Universe, E.D.I. Mean of the Outlawz revealed how Pac wanted actually wanted the beef between him and Big to end before his death.

“We gotta tell people (that) one of the last things (Tupac) told us was, ‘Yo, this shit with Biggie is over. I’m done with it. I’m wiping my hands with it after the (Don Killuminati: 7 Day Theory album); I ain’t even speaking on that no more, cause at the end of the day, Big is my brother.’ He actually said that.”

E.D.I. Mean went on to say, “(Tupac) said, ‘Look, Big my brother; I just wanted to give him a spankin’ real quick. I’m done with it. Mission accomplished. Let’s move on. Let’s move on.’ Absolutely, that’s what he said.”

Young Noble backed him up, “That’s when we started on the One Nation album. He started bringin’ all the East Coast and West Coast dudes all together. Boot Camp (Clik) were the first dudes we brought out. That’s where Pac’s spirit was at. Greg Nice (came). He was gonna bring everybody. He was gonna bring Nas out. He was gonna go crazy and really bring everything together…Of course ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ and different things started the shit, but how the media made it, he hated it.”

Both E.D.I. Mean and Young Noble appear in the upcoming All Eyez On Me film.
