Paul Wall and Baby Bash Avoid Drug Indictments

Paul Wall and Baby Bash are free as birds today (March 21), as a Harris County, Texas grand jury declined to indict the Texas rappers on felony drug-related charges.

Wall (real name Paul Slayton) and Bash (real name Ronald Bryant) were among 10 people arrested on felony manufacturing and delivering drug charges the day before Christmas Eve at Paradise Smoke Shop in Houston after two undercover officers paid $10 each for entrance. Out of the 10, five of those charged were indicted.

Throughout the course of events, Paul maintained that was holding a private party, collecting toys for disadvantaged children.

“All it was, was a little smoke out that got bigger than it should have been,” Bash explained previously in a video to TMZ. “People had edibles and people had dabs. There were no drugs. They tried to make it like we were big druggies, but it was all marijuana and THC. So I want people to know, it was basically me and Paul were smoking some tree. I guess in Texas they don’t play that as much as Cali and Colorado. They arrested us.”
