James Harden reportedly has a new signature sneaker with Adidas on the way. Currently, the Houston Rocket’s second shoe with the brand is only up for grabs in Asia. But sources say Harden BTE’s release in the US is imminent.

His sophomore signature comes shortly after news of Harden LS. The basketball player updated his first signature Adidas shoe, basketball sneaker Harden Vol. 1, to create a lifestyle collection. Both models use knitted uppers, autographed rubber outsoles, wraparound tongues and the three heel stripes and “H” emblem both representing Harden’s collaboration with the sportswear brand. Stores and retailers just got stocked with the Harden LS, and we’re already hearing of another creation by the NBA player for Adidas.

The Harden BTE has some similarities to his first two collections. And the addition to his line makes it easier to decipher what characteristics complete his imprint on Adidas—and thus predict what the future of his sneakers might look like. All three sneakers have one instance of zigzagging on the sole and a textile-majority upper. Overall Harden’s shoes hold a much simpler design than Adidas collaborations with others in the NBA like Damian Lillard and Derrick Rose. But this new sneaker does have its twists compared to his past works. The Harden BTE’s tongue isn’t tucked in. Its outsole isn’t translucent like the rest either. And according to Sole Collector, its upper is made up mesh not Primeknit, and its cushioning is Bounce not Boost.

Photos of the Harden BTE have been hitting the web. And from the looks of it, the sneakers will come in colorways including hues of red, grey, black, yellow, and green.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Harden BTE.
