Railing collapses during Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert

At least 40 concertgoers were taken to the hospital for treatment and one was listed in a critical condition after a rail collapsed at a Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert in New Jersey last night, causing dozens of people crashing down.

The collapse happened around 10:30 p.m. at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden. Social media video shows Snoop and Wiz performing on a secondary stage, as the rappers were instructing the crowd to “get up,” moments before the rail gave way.

Both Snoop and Wiz were whisked away as security moved in to help the injured. Up to 42 people have been reported as taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Most of the injuries were broken bones and bruises, according to officials. One unidentified person was taken to Cooper Trauma Center.

Concert organizers later canceled the rest of the show and cleared the pavilion. Tonight’s show featuring Salt N Pepa, Bryan Adams and Vanilla Ice will go one as planned, organizers said.
