GRIP Magazine received an exclusive invitation to Martell Cognac’s H.O.M.E event series, hosted by rapper Wale.
Previously held in cities such as Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Washington D.C, H.OM.E by Martell arrived in Chicago with a guest list filled with social influencers in music, fashion, and entertainment. The H.O.M.E experience was topped off with food created by the culinary collective, Ghetto Gastro.
“Welcome Home” is the phrase guest were greeted with as they arrived to the venue escorted in private cars. The space was decorated with intimate lighting and Martell branding while perfectly-curated music kept guest drinking and dancing. It truly was a “home-like” atmosphere and an unforgettable nightlife experience.
As expected, the drinks were the star of the evening. The menu featured 6 different cocktails: Curious Halo, Curious Punch, Curious Julep, Curious Crusta, Floral Cherry, and Curious Sidecar (our favorite!). Martell is one of the oldest cognac houses on the market. H.O.M.E by Martell is a lifestyle campaign that bridges the Martell brand with home entertainment. In addition to Wale, singer-songwriter Jhene and Atlanta rapper Quavo serve as event host for the event series.
