Rap group Run The Jewels, made up of Killer Mike and El-P, is preparing for a North American tour beginning Jan. 11. in Philly and planning new album Run The Jewels 3.
El-P announced on Twitter today that their upcoming album Run The Jewels 3 will either be released by the end of 2016 or in the first week of 2017.
“RTJ3 MICRO UPDATE: we want it out this year,” he wrote, “it will be out 1st week of next year at the LATEST, we will announce ASAP. thanks. THANKS.”

Run The Jewels released their debut studio album, Run the Jewels, as a free digital download on Fool’s Gold Records in 2013, which was followed by Run the Jewels 2 through Mass Appeal Records in 2014.
They recently dropped a new single called “Talk to Me.”
