On the official anniversary of their second album, RTJ2, duo Killer Mike and El-P have dropped the first song from the upcoming album Run the Jewels 3, titled “Talk to Me.”
Following last month’s release of “Panther Like A Panther,” which soundtracked the trailer for Gears of War 4, “Talk to Me” features a hard-hitting beat with even harder lyrics and opens nothing short of political with line aimed at Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
“We return from the depths of the bad man, with a gun and a knife, in our waist band/ went to war with the devil names Satan he wore a bad toupee with a spray tan.”
Killer Mike, who campaigned heavy with Democratic Presidential nominee Bernie Sanders, is sparing no punches on the synth based 70s rock infused track.
