Last Friday, Remy Ma stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to talk about the rap feud between her and Nicki Minaj.

While Nicki hasn’t responded to ‘ShETHER’ yet, her ex, Safaree Samuels stopped by the show on Monday (March 7) to talk about what went on behind the scenes.

Safaree also mentioned Minaj’s team tried to stop him from appearing on The Wendy Williams Show. If you remember, Remy Ma also accused the Young Money queen of playing dirty behind the scenes and trying to interfere with folks’ appearances and money streams instead of responding verbally on wax.

Safaree Samuels also spoke on Remy Ma’s “ShETHER,” explaining,

“It’s crazy because my name just being in it, I was on a flight when it happened. When I landed, I’m hoping somebody didn’t die because I got about 300 calls and text messages.”

Safaree went on to speak of the couples earlier stages and when asked about his involvement with Nicki’s music career from the beginning he explained,

“It was a collaborative effort. She doesn’t sit there and do absolutely nothing. I was definitely a helping force in everything that had to do with creating music. It’s not like I was just a waist man.”

Not holding back, Safaree also talked about not being compensated for his help with Nicki’s pen game and the lawsuit he previously filed to be paid. He added,

“I had started a whole lawsuit and I just fell back from it. It just was a lot going on behind the scenes.”

In the exclusive interview with Wendy, Safaree also spoke on Meek Mill and how he introduced the two not knowing Meek was a snake in the grass just waiting. When asked what he’d like to say to Nicki he responded,

“Do what’s right. You know what you did. Do what’s right.”

Safaree also confirmed he wouldn’t consider getting back with Nicki Minaj. Watch the full interview below.
