Scarface Displeased With Tupac Shakur Biopic ‘All Eyez on Me’ [Watch Now]

The legendary Scarface isn’t feeling the Tupac biopic All Eyez on Me and recently questioned its authenticity and the monetary incentives behind the project.

The famed Geto Boy was recently in Chicago and performed at the Classic Hip-Hop Lives event. During a candid interview with Knowledge Beckom. Face spoke on his relationship with Tupac and explained his distaste for the movie. Revealing that he and Makaveli have a lot of unreleased music together, he expressed,

“We never looked at each other like each other’s favorite rapper which we were. We were just friends and every show that we did together (early on), it was Pac, me, MC Breed.  And with no MC Breed, that ain’t no real Pac movie. Spice-1, MC Eiht, Richie Rich. We was all with Pac. That was our peers… Too-Short, we all hung together. So if them niggas is not in (portrayed) in the movie…

If that shit wasn’t sanctioned by the people that grew up with Pac…Like Big Syke (R.I.P.) wasn’t in the movie. If Syke ain’t got shit to do with it, I don’t know bro. And here’s another thing with me, I don’t believe…

If a motherfucker put out an album on me when I’m dead, don’t buy that shit. When a motherfucker try to shoot a movie on me when I’m dead, don’t go see that shit my nigga. Let me rest man.  I love Pac to death but let that man rest. That’s some bullshit. It ain’t feeding his mama, his mama gone. It ain’t feeding his kids, he ain’t got none. So who getting the money? Who getting the fucking money? That’s what I want to know so I can’t get support that shit man. 20 years later these niggas still sucking blood. Cut that shit out.”

Despite All Eyez on Me receiving mixed reviews and a bunch of criticism, the film grossed $27.1 million on its first weekend.  Check out the interview below as well as Scarface performing his smoker’s anthem “Mary Mary” with a live band below.
