Snoop Dogg Cleared in Cracked Spine Lawsuit

Back in August 2016, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa were onstage in Pennsylvania performing when the the front row railing collapsed, causing dozens of people crashing down. At least 40 concertgoers were taken to the hospital for treatment. One claimed to have fractured his spine. Snoop, Wiz and Live Nation were facing lawsuits from the incident.

Lucky for the Doggfather, he was recently cleared after a judge threw out the lawsuit against him, according to TMZ. Snoop’s legal team argued that with the suit being filed against him in Pennsylvania and Snoop being from California, the other side filed it in the wrong state.

The judge agreed that veteran rapper had nothing to do with the incident and cleared him. Unfortunately, though, Khalifa and Live Nation are still fighting the suit.

The lawsuit was filed by the mother of a teen attending the concert, who claimed her 16-year-old daughter was one of the dozens of concertgoers who were injured during the disaster. As a result, her daughter’s “dreams of being a cheerleading champ” were destroyed and also disrupted her “regular dreams at night,” according to a new lawsuit discovered by TMZ.

The parent blames Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa for causing the accident because they yelled, “Everybody in the mother******* grass bring your ass down here.”

She also points fingers at Live Nation, which manages the venue, for inadequate crowd control. She says the teenage “fell 10 feet onto concrete, got pinned by the crowd, knocked out cold and woke up covered in blood with a broken arm and wrist.”

Due to sustained injuries, she was forced her to discontinue competitive cheerleading, and the girl is having nightmares.
