Snoop Dogg Teases Snippet of Song from Upcoming Gospel Album

Whether g-funk gangsta rap, reggae or R&B, there is no genre of music Snoop Dogg can’t do. In a new video published to his Instagram account, the Doggfather embarks takes on a new genre with a snippet of a song from an upcoming gospel album.

“Say man, this gospel record…whoa! Whoa! Whoa!” he says in the video as he plays soul-stirring crooning over an inspirational instrumental. “I’m not putting nothing on it. Get a load of this.”

A far cry from gospel music, the West Coast veteran let loose the new visual for his newest stoner anthem โ€œMount Kushmoreโ€ off his latest album Neva Left just last week.

In related news, Big Snoop will join Linkin Park on their One More Light World Tour as a special guest on six west coast dates in October. The rap legend and rock outliers will share the stage for six consecutive shows beginning October 14th in Seattle and concluding October 22nd at the historic Hollywood Bowl.
