A Seat At The Table, an album written and performed by Solange Knowles, and co-executive produced alongside Raphael Saadiq, was released globally on September 30th, 2016 via Saint Records / Columbia. The album, which is currently sitting at #1 on iTunes US Overall Chart and #1 on iTunes R&B/Soul genre charts, is available digitally everywhere. The pre-order for the physical album is live now with CD formats available on November 18th and the Double Vinyl LP available on December 9th.
Solange describes A Seat At The Table, which she began writing in 2013, as “a project on identity, empowerment, independence, grief and healing.”
Now Solange has released two stunning visuals accompanying the album: “Cranes in the Sky” and the video “Don’t Touch My Hair” ft. Sampha. Both visual properties were directed by Beyonce’s little sister, and her husband, Alan Ferguson and produced by Eli Cane.
