Last month, after unknown assailants allegedly crashed into and fired 100 gunshots at Dolph’s SUV in Charlotte, NC., the rapper emerged unscathed and took the stage mere hours later to perform “Play Wit Your Bitch,” a savage diss track to his enemy Yo Gotti.

Building upon that life threatening moment, Young Dolph shares Bulletproof, a lean, mean collection of trap anthems. Featuring Gucci Mane as the solitary guest, each song title is aimed directly at his haters and asserts his dominance over all comers. His second project of the year, following the popular and acclaimed Gelato, Bulletproof reaffirms Dolph’s self-proclamation of being not only being the King of Memphis but the king of trap anthems with substance and style.

The second single off the Bulletproof album, “I Pray For My Enemies,” finds Dolph in rare form. Spitting over a Zaytoven-produced demon of a beat, Young Dolph’s flow has never been icier, slicing through his haters with lazy flicks of his katana-sharp rhymes:

“They tried to do me like they did Kennedy/ I ain’t mad at you, I pray for my enemies.”
