Suge Knight Sues Dr. Dre for $300 Million, Accuses Dre of Hiring Hitman to Kill Him

As part of a whopping $300 million lawsuit, Suge Knight claims that Dr. Dre hired a hitman to knock off Knight over payments owed from Beats By Dre.

The jailed Death Row Records founder claims Andre “Dr. Dre” Young wanted him killed to skirt an alleged lifetime management agreement, in which Knight is owed 30% of the mega-millions Young made from selling his Beats headphones business for a super-cool $1 billion to Apple and producing “Straight Outta Compton” for Universal.

According to the lawsuit, Apple didn’t want its brand associated with Suge. Dre’s alleged solution was to put change on Suge’s head. The suit claims that the first attack was during the 2014 VMAs weekend inside the 1Oak nightclub in West Hollywood, where Suge was shot seven times.

The second attempt on Suge’s life was at Tam’s burgers in Compton in January 2015.

You may recall that incident when he ran over Terry Carter, killed him and tried to kill Cle “Bone” Sloan. Knight is now in the bing behind those charges. This new civil suit from Knight’s lawyer Thaddeus Culpepper is a cross-complaint in a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the widow of Terry Carter.

“Dr. Dre did it. Andre Young is responsible for both crimes,” Knight’s new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court states.

However, a lawyer representing Dr. Dre told TMZ, ““Given that Dre has had zero interaction with Suge since leaving Death Row Records in 1996, we hope that Suge’s lawyer has lots of malicious prosecution insurance.”
