In an interview with internet music show, a former bodyguard of Eminem claims that Suge Knight tried to have the Detroit rapper killed in 2001.
Em’s former body Byron “Big Naz” Williams alleges on “Murder Master Music Show” that he had to “snatch” the star up before an argument with Knight’s crew escalated further at the Source Awards 15 years ago.
“I noticed that, in the middle of the aisle, he’s beefing with all these guys in red shirts,” says Williams. “I noticed his face changing, and he’s turning like, tomato-red. And there’s a sea of red guys around him … I had to bust through the middle and snatch him up.”
Williams also tells of a later trip to Hawaii when he had to rescue Marshall Bruce Mathers III again. Both times Eminem escaped unharmed.
Knight is currently awaiting trial for murder in connection with a 2015 hit-and-run.
