Swae Lee Announces Solo Project ‘Swaecation’ Coming Soon

The hit-making duo known as Rae Sremmurd just may be a thing of the past. Joe Budden hinted towards a breakup of the group earlier this week and had the rumor mill swirling. And just recently, Swae Lee (one half of the group) announced an upcoming solo project entitled Swaecation via Instagram videos.

“I got shit coming for y’all 🔥🔥 can’t wait #swaecation,” he captioned in a video of himself smoking a cigar.

This past Wednesday (June 21), Joe Budden may have spilled the beans about a pending break up of the group. During an episode of Complex’s Everyday Struggle, the Harlem rapper was predicting the winners for the Best Collaboration category of the upcoming BET Awards. When he read “Black Beatles” on the nominees list, he blurted “Rae Sremmurd broke up, so I’m not going with ‘Black Beatles.’ If they didn’t announce it yet, I’m sorry.”

Although there has been no official word that the group has called it quits, Buddens just may be on to something. Check out Budden’s comments below around the 12:25 mark.
