Swizz Beatz Instigates Battle Between DJ Clue and Funkmaster Flex

In a video posted to his Instagram account, Swizz Beats attempts to set up a DJ battle between DJ Clue and Funkmaster Flex.

In the video, Swizz urges Clue to battle Flex. The DJ said he was down but only under the right terms.

Funk Flex, however, didn’t seem interested in the terms and was just ready for the competition. The DJ reposted the video with caption: “IM SO READY!!!!! He don’t want no DJ action at all!!!! I’m ready Date and Time let me fucking know!!!!!!! Hahaha!!! Tell him to bring that Clue Bomb too!!!!!!!”

Clue would later further explain his seeming hesitation. He also reposted the video with the caption: “the short video above is me tired of talking 45 mins about the same shit..send the bag and let’s get to it. They said ‘Bring your best work Album Cuts & Freestyles.’ Shawn Carter & Swizz just called me on 3 way. I’m not bout that talk life when it comes to getting to work. Send the bag..it’s a go.”

I sat with and watched @therealswizzz & @kodaklens try to amp a competition aka battle while @myfabolouslife @ryanleslie @omarihardwickofficial @emilyb_ & a few others watched..I told Swizz exactly what I wanted for the situation to happen..the short video above is me tired of talking 45 mins about the same sh*t..send the bag and let’s get to it.
