T.I. puts his “writer” ambitions on full blast with the help of B.o.B and Translee on latest visual off of album Us or Else: Letter to the System.
In the Tidal exclusive video directed by Laureal Richardson, you see the trio exchanges verses in various settings paying tribute to Tupac Shakur’s “Ambitionz Az A Rider” as well as other Hip-Hop legends. The trailer opens with Translee walking in what appears to be an abandoned lot, accompanied by a beautiful woman vibing off of the rhymes.
This isn’t the first time T.I has paid tribute to Tupac. He was one of the few Hip-Hop artists that were blessed to take part in Tupac’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction tribute last April and has also been vocal about tributing Tupac for his recent outspoken actions against the issues plaguing African Americans.
Last Month T.I. released his mini movie Us or Else providing a visual to his powerful album and letters he’s written. The movie provides a narrative to what many people of color face growing up in lower income areas each day.
