T.I. and Tiny Reveal Reason For Divorce on ‘Family Hustle’ Series Finale [Watch]

T.I. and Tiny‘s Family Hustle has officially come to a close after six seasons.

The season finale aired on VH1 on Monday night, marking the 100th episode, was centered around the then couples highly publicized separation and pending divorce as  Tiny confronted the King of the South about his alleged infidelity.

“For those who don’t understand, Tip had some infidelities with a girl who I hired, and that girl is one of the reasons why I got my own house. I think that we have things that make us a little different. I think there are things that happen along the way — life, growth — that change a person,” Tiny said.

Not one to take things lying down, T.I. claps back by claiming Tiny spent time with a man he had issues with while he was “spending millions” on her.

“I spent millions on you, what the f–k are you saying?” T.I. said.

Prior to the show’s finale,  Nina Diaz (VH1’s head of unscripted) told Deadline that T.I. and Tiny maybe working on a possible spin-off. “It’s an incredible legacy. We’ve had a great partnership with Tip and Tameka [Tiny]. Their family has been a cultural touchstone, they are the lovable first family of VH1. We have gone through six seasons of seeing them, their children grow from little kids to teenagers. We saw the birth of baby Heiress. Their son Messiah is preparing to leave the nest for college. We were there for so many important family moments. We’ve seen Niq Niq and Domani, which are two of the other teens, bring music like their mother and father to a new generation of fans. We want to continue to be in business with Tameka and Tip. We love them and we love all of the kids. We love what they have shared and what they stand for and we would love to continue to see what evolves and develops.”

Although the next step regarding the show’s legacy on VH1 is unclear, T.I. is reportedly teaming up with Kevin Hart for a new series written by  Everybody Hates Chris writer Aeysha Carr, called The Studio to premiere on Showtime. The “music-themed office comedy” will explore the day-to-day work lives of folks who make a living in the recording studio.
