During a recent visit to The Wendy Williams Show, Tameka “Tiny” Harris delved into her failing marriage with T.I. She talked about Tip’s relationship with Bernice Burgos and blamed her estranged husband for the controversial picture and video with Floyd Mayweather at Mariah Carey’s Halloween party last year.
“We just can’t keep it together,” the R&B singer said when Williams asked what happened to their marriage. “I guess it’s just the entertainment life and everything. It is a fast life…they call him a sex symbol; I guess.”
When asked about Burgos, Tiny said the model had nothing to do with their marital problems.
“He’s not even with her, first of all, and she had nothing to do with whatever was going on with us before, anyway,” said Harris. “We were already going through whatever we were going through. She just came in the picture after I had filed for divorce.”
When Wendy asked if they had an open marriage, Tiny proclaimed,” No, we don’t have anything now.”
The hostess also reminded Harris that “you’re no innocent…you weren’t just dancing with Floyd Mayweather. You were dancing up on him…that’s not how a married woman dances with a man…why were you all up on Floyd Mayweather’s crotch?”
Harris contends that she was already dancing when the boxing champ started to dance with her.
“We’re friends,” she said. “There’s never been anything extra between me and Floyd. Never. But I’ve been knowing Floyd for a long, long time. He’s a nice-looking man, but there’s never been anything other than a friendship.”
She then justifies her actions, saying “I wasn’t at Floyd’s event, […] and honestly if [T.I.] would have been doing the right thing I wouldn’t have been at Mariah’s party.”
