Tone Loc nearly faints onstage at a show in Sioux Falls, SD his platinum hit single “Wild Thang” as part of the #ILoveThe90s Tour on Saturday night, TMZ reports.
The West coast OG apparently got a little too crazy at the start of the performance, as a friend had to catch him before the 90s rapper was escorted offstage. After a few minutes back stage and some water, the 50-year-old rapper returned to the stage to finish his set.
The news magazine also reports that Loc is now doing great and plans to perform in his next show in North Dakota. Sources say that the fainting scare was only a fluke.
While Mr. Funky Cold Medina is back on his feet, this isn’t the first time that the Los Angeles veteran has had a fainting scare. Back in 2013, he passed out during a concert in Des Moines, Iowa as well as a 2009 concert in Florida, once in 2011 and twice in 2012.
Sources say he will continue through the rest of the #ILoveThe90s Tour into 2017.
