Travis Scott Being Sued by Ex-Managers for $2 Million

When Travis Scott decided to end his relationship with Lyor Cohen’s LCAR Management, he reportedly neglected to pay them a delinquent $2 million in earnings and is now being sued for the funds, according to TMZ.

The celebrity news outlet reports that the Houston rapper signed a three-year contract in October of 2014, guaranteeing the company 15 percent of all profits earned in the entertainment industry. In documents obtained by TMZ, he has only paid $37,000 or the $2 million owed.

Sources close to Travis also told TMZ that the rapper felt he was managing his own career as Cohen and company weren’t holding up their end of the agreement.

His bill with the management company just may continue to add up, as Kendrick Lamar recently announced that Scott and D.R.A.M. will be opening acts for “The DAMN. Tour” kicking off on Juy 12.

And just last week, Travis teamed up with SZA to bless fans with not only the long awaited collaboration track with “Love Galore.” The track is set to appear on SZA’s forthcoming CTRL album.

Scott teamed up with Kendrick Lamar to release the peculiar video for “Goosebumps.” In true Travis Scott fashion, the visual’s production commands your attention with dizzying graphics and transitions. Alongside Kendrick Lamar, the two provide a definitive musical contrast, resulting in one of the best tracks to be included on Scott’s smash album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. Filled with skulls, flames, and animations galore, the Houston rapper goes outside the box and does not disappoint in his latest visual.

As done previously, Travis has partnered with Apple Music for the exclusive release. If you are subscribed to the service, you can watch the full video featuring fire, barely dressed women, skeletons and more striking imagery, on this link.
