According to an exclusive report by Reuters, during an oval office interview 45 revealed that  North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs is causing major conflict but insists that war is not imminent due him seeking “a more diplomatic outcome” to their current standoff.

“There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely,”

Trump also said that he ultimately wants resolve a potential crisis that has been looming over the head of many of his predecessors, but the resolution is still proving to ultimately be “difficult.” Trump also said he wants South Korea to pay the cost of the U.S. THAAD anti-missile defense system, which he estimated at $1 billion, and intends to renegotiate or terminate a U.S. free trade pact with South Korea because of a deep trade deficit with Seoul.

Asked when he would announce his intention to renegotiate the pact, Trump said: “Very soon. I’m announcing it now.”

Reuters also reports that the Trump administration is preparing a variety of new economic sanctions to “emphasize the issue while not taking the military option off the table.”

Trump is also seeking South Korea to pay for the United States’ THAAD anti-missile defense system, which is apparently estimated at $1 billion. He also, “intends to renegotiate or terminate a U.S. free trade pact with South Korea because of a deep trade deficit with Seoul.”

In his extensive interview with the publication, Trump notes that North Korea chairman Kim Jong Un took over the country at an early age, but stopped short on giving an opinion on the chairman’s rationality.

“He’s 27 years old. His father dies, took over a regime. So say what you want but that is not easy, especially at that age,” Trump said. “I’m not giving him credit or not giving him credit, I’m just saying that’s a very hard thing to do. As to whether or not he’s rational, I have no opinion on it. I hope he’s rational.”

In other Trump news, It’s been a little more than 100 days since he’s been in office and Hip-Hop lyricist Talib Kweli had more than a few words regarding his review. In an interview with TMZ, Kweli said that the bar has been “set lower for white people.”

“Trump could be mediocre, he could even be a failure,” Kweli said. “Obama had to work so much more harder than everybody else,” he tells the entertainment news outlet. “He had so many more obstacles in front of him than Donald Trump had and he still was called a monkey. He was still called a liar to his face by our Congressmen. Donald Trump lies everyday. Ain’t nobody calling him a liar to his face.”

Kweli always keeps it 100.
