The Federal Communications Commission received more than a dozen viewer complaints about Dave Chappelle’s opening monologue as host last month on SNL, due to what they believed was vulgar language, the use of the n-word and implications that America is racist for electing Donald Trump as president.

Complaints can be viewed at MuckRack.com.

The episode aired on Saturday, Nov. 11 and featured Hip Hop icons A Tribe Called Quest performing. Despite the show kicking off by avoiding the usual direct criticism of now President-elect, Donald Trump, Dave Chappelle opened his initial monologue more pointed with criticism of the election result reactions saying, “It seemed like Hillary [Clinton] was up in the polls, but I know the whites.”
