Usher Now Faces $20 Million Lawsuit Over Alleged STD Exposure

The woman who initially sued Usher for $10 million after having unprotected sex with the R&B singer earlier this year has upped the ante to at least $20 million, TMZ reports.

The celebrity media outlet reports that the payout has been doubled for emotional harm, medical bills and punitive damages due to the woman saying an STD test has confirmed she has now contracted herpes.

The woman has filed in new legal documents as Jane Doe “says she was devastated when she got the results Saturday. The woman said she’d gone to get tested immediately after hearing reports Usher admitted in docs he has herpes Simplex 2.”

Late last week, it was reported that Usher Raymond IV had sex with the woman who was unaware that he was exposing her to herpes.

According to the suit, the two hooked up in Atlanta on April 16 at her home. She says they petted each other, kissed and she performed oral sex on him. She said that they also had sexual intercourse, and she says he wore a condom.

However, in the documents obtained by TMZ, she says they had sex again 12 days later in a New Orleans hotel room and the did not use a condom.

Then three months later, Jane Doe says she read news reports about Usher admitting that he has Herpes Simplex 2. In the initial lawsuit, the woman did not say that she was infected but that she was “exposed.” She also said that she would not have had sex with Usher if she had known he had the virus. For that, she was suing for negligence, battery and emotional distress.
