Vince Staples just released his new single “BagBak in advance of The Life Aquatic Tour opening on February 24th in San Diego.
Marking the Long Beach, California native’s first major headlining North American outing, The Life Aquatic Tour of the U.S. and Canada is the the first time that Vince will be touring material from PRIMA DONNA, his critically acclaimed EP released last August.
He will be touring with Brooklyn’s Kilo Kish in support who is also is featured on PRIMA DONNA’s “Loco.” The six-week, 26-city tour wraps up April 9th at the Phoenix Lights Festival in Arizona.
In November 2016, Vince debuted the first episode of S E A B S, his new monthly radio show on Beats 1, Apple Music’s global radio station. Vince personally curates S E A B S, a pirate radio-style broadcast full of music and interviews designated to illuminate and distract the mind. S E A B S airs every third Thursday of the month at 3pm PT/6 pm ET. Watch the trailer here.
The Life Aquatic Tour will be Vince’s first full-scale road trip since his massive 2016 U.S. and Euro summer festival run that included show stopping performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Firefly, Primavera Sound Barcelona, Glastonbury, Wireless, and the FYF Festival in Los Angeles.
“BagBak” is the first new track from Vince after the release of his critically praised EP Prima Donna.
