It seems like Waka Flocka has a problem with rappers promoting the Black Lives Matter movement when their music and personal lifestyle are contradictory to the message they claim to convey. Waka Flocka took to Instagram to get a few feeling off his chest, saying,
“Words of the fu%#ing day. Y’all ni$$as stop that philosophical s#*t. Start acting like you living like that god damn quote ’cause boy that ain’t you. N*@a knew you all your life and be like, ‘Damn. Bro talk like that? That n%@a sound like Givenchy or somebody. I mean Da Vinci.’ Y’all n*%gas out here sounding like Machiavelli or something. Nostradamus a** n*%ga. All that philosophical bullsh*t. N*gga out here doing all f#@k sh*t to the Black community, posting Black Lives Matter. Cut it out – that philosophical s#*t gotta stop bro, cut it out. Please.”
No word on who those comments were aimed at but Social Media has implied it could be targeting a few MCs from T.I. to Lil Boosie to Kevin Gates.
