XXXTentacion Gunned Down in Florida, Soldier Kidd and Soldier Jojo Deny Involvement

Rapper XXXTentacion succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained during an apparent robbery Monday (June 18) in Broward County, Florida, according to reports.

CNN reports the 20-year-old rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was leaving a Deerfield Beach motorcycle dealership shortly before 4 p.m. when two men in a dark-colored SUV shot and killed him in an apparent robbery, said Keyla Concepción, Broward County sheriff department public information officer.

According to TMZ, police radio described the suspects in the shooting as two black males wearing hoodies, with the shooter wearing a red mask.

Yesterday, the Broward County Sheriff’s Department tweeted a reward up to $3,000 for anyone who may have a tip that leads to the arrest of the assailants.

Rappers Soldier Kidd and Soldier JoJo denied any involvement in Onfroy’s death after social media posts showed them posing with a red mask and picking up food from a takeaway close to the murder scene.

On Instagram Live, Soldier Kidd said he was at his house “all day, popping Xanax and shit like that”.

Soldier Jojo posted a video to the social media platform responding to allegations over any involvement: “We respect everybody, straight up. We ain’t with none of that shit man, I respect that man for who he is, and RIP to that man.”
