Burning up airplay charts with an affecting flavor of emotive trap music, YFN Lucci is quickly transcending local hero status and building a national profile. Riding high on the success of his recent single “Everyday We Lit” featuring PNB Rock, the Think It’s a Game artist takes a much deserved victory lap with the new remix.
Featuring breezy melodic verses from fellow ATLien upstart Lil Yachty and Taylor Gang maestro Wiz Khalifa, as well as a fun-loving and dexterous new verse from Lucci (“You know everyday we lit like it’s…Kwanzaa”) and the familiar, irresistible hook from PNB Rock, the new remix is certain to get the June James-produced single more spins.
Released in January, “Everyday We Lit” found a home on YFN Lucci’s latest project, the Long Live Nut EP. Named in honor of his late mentor, the album boasts guest appearances from Rick Ross, Lil Durk, Dreezy and Boosie Badazz.
YFN Lucci earned his first major hit in 2016 with the June James-produced hit “Key to the Streets,” a critical and commercial success. Featuring a high-profile assist from Quavo on the hook and first verse, “Key To The Streets” made the young MC’s name ring out in the streets.
