YG’s Album ‘My Krazy Life’ Goes Platinum

Almost three years after its release, YG’s 2014 debut album My Krazy Life was certified platinum by RIAA on April 27.

The album was certified gold on March 29, 2016 and has spawned the triple platinum lead single  “My Nigga” featuring Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan, platinum single “Who Do You Love?” featuring Drake and gold single “Left, Right.”

In other YG news as previously reported, the Compton rapper got the clubs bopping again with his 2017 version of Juve’s “Bak That Azz Up” and gets the booties shaking with the release of his new video “Pop It, Shake It.”

“Pop It, Shake It” is the first official release from YG’s upcoming third album, the eagerly anticipated Just Re’d Up 3: Know Your Worth. The project also reunites YG with his number one producer DJ Mustard who will executive produce the project.

Directed by X, the visual finds the West Coast cohorts enjoying Trinidad’s Carnival festival as the shorties definitely show us what they’re working with. Sure to get major play in the strip clubs, YG spits,

“Dammmn, yeah she moving kinda fast though (fast though)/ Tryna keep up, but I don’t wanna crash though (crash though)/ Baby got back though/ She the type you sneak out the back door/ Show me what you working with, drop it down, do a split/ Damn girl, you bad as shit.”

The Bompton MC has been making waves with his hit single “FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)” where he expresses his feelings on the current Commander-in-Chief.

Just Re’d Up 3: Know Your Worth acts as the extension of YG’s dual mixtape releases, Just Re’d Up (2011) and Just Re’d Up 2 (2013). Both projects were hosted by DJ Ill Will & DJ Mustard that offered unapologetic, West coast fueled raw street lyricism.
