You’ll Never Want to Lose The Nike Air Force 1 Upstep Hi LX “Glass Slipper”

A fairytale for your feet? Nike has a new sneaker for women that is inspired by Cinderella and is enough to have you bibbidi bobbidi ballin.’

Creators tackled the Nike Air Force 1 Upstep with a new multicolored upper meant to replicate the storybook glass slipper Cinderella receives and leaves at the ball. This colorway, called “Glass Slipper,” splashes tones of blue and pink on the Air Force 1 Upstep Hi LX. Give credit to its array of sequins for the reflecting effect the high tops simulate. Plus wIth its thick white sole, cushioning and ankle strap—the basketball sneaker has the durability and power to run home by midnight.

The sneaker itself represents a collision between two acclaimed classics. The tale of Cinderella is cross-cultural, and its legacy prevails generation after generation. It is also often one of the first fairy tales children are introduced to. Pairing with another first, Nike matches folklore with its earliest basketball shoe, Air Force’s 1. Instead of paupers to princesses, Nike’s iconic sneaker gives a presidential feel to the athletes, artists, and fans who have embraced its footwear.

You can find the Nike Air Force 1 Upstep Hi LX “Glass Slipper” at Nike and select retailers. The sneakers are price at $200.
