Young Dolph is serious about his claim as the new King of Memphis and fires right back with his new video “Gelato.”
Dolph unveiled his new mixtape of the same name yesterday right after releasing the diss track “Play Wit Yo Bitch” aimed at fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti earlier yesterday, Jan 2.
Gelato also features appearances from Migos, Wiz Khalifa, Paper Route Empire labelmate Jay Fizzle, and Lil Yachty, who guests on the lead single “Bagg.”
Dolph previously spoke on the album explaining,
“It’s a weed smoking, money counting album. This album is for when you have those days when you wake up and it’s Friday or Saturday and your whole day finna be lit. It’s like, My folks are with me, we finna have fun, we’re gonna smoke hella weed all day, we’re hitting up the spot, then the other spot, getting fresh at the mall, change clothes four times a day, we’re gonna hit the clubs at night, etc. It’s for when you’re feeling good all day. Music to put in your ride. It’s that feel good music, it’s the party, it’s finna turn the clubs upside down.”
