Young Dolph feat. 2 Chainz – “What Yo Life Like” [New Video Alert]

Young Dolph

Memphis trap star Young Dolph teams with 2 Chainz for his latest visual “What Yo Life Like” off his street certified project Rich Crack Baby.  Over a Zaytoven beat, Dolph is joined by 2 Chainz in recalling their early years of struggle, while also celebrating their present successes and wealth. Mixing in flashbacks to their youths with them flexing their current riches, the video is a testament to how far both have come.

Everyone knows that Young Dolph is really about it, so there is no point in asking him what his life is like. In “What Yo Life Like,” however, Dolph is interested in knowing about you, questioning whether you’ve ever sold green or white or seen a dope fiend hit a pipe. The video ends with a teaser for the video for “Foreva,” showing Dolph and T.I. at a motel with plenty of cash and women.

Riding a year-long hot streak, Dolph has become one of the most popular and prolific independent rappers in the game today.  “What Yo Life Like” follows up the “Nothin‘,”  the fourth video released from Young Dolph’s latest mixtape, Rich Crack Baby, coming after the black-and-white video for “If,” the strip club-set “Trappa,” which has 590,000 views on YouTube, and the David Lynch-meets-the trap clip for the title track (over 1 million views). With features from T.I., Gucci Mane, Boosie Badazz, 21 SavageWale and 2 Chainz and production from Zaytoven, Drumma BoyHonorable C-Note and othersRich Crack Baby is a titanic effort from Young Dolph, affirming his status as one of street rap’s biggest names. His recent nomination for theBET Hip-Hop Awards’ “People’s Champ” Award makes it clear that the rest of rap world can’t deny it anymore either.
