The wait is finally over for Young Thug to finally release his much-anticipated album Beautiful Thugger Girls. Originally titled Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls (or E.B.B.T.G. for short), Thugger began talk of a new “singing album” on Twitter back in April with Drake as executive producer.
Since then, Thug has been teasing snippets on Instagram and even agitating other rappers. The 14-track album includes features from Future, Snoop Dogg, Millie Go Lightly, Lil Durk, and Jacquees.
Only a few hours before the album dropped, Thugger took to Instagram with a picture of himself with a cake and a message to his fans. He captioned: “I love everybody in the world for allowing me to put out music the way I want… I even love the critics because I know it’s all love.”
And the fans apparently agree. The album’s release sent many favorable reviews on Twitter, being called “too beautiful” and “soothing. amazing vibrato.” Check out a few of the tweets below.
