Young Thug wants people to “stop believing in genders,” he recently revealed in an interview with V Magazine. The rapper was referring to his decision to pose on the cover of his JEFFERY mixtape this summer wearing a long, ruffled dress designed by Italian designer Alessandro Trincone.
While he doesn’t offer much explanation into his wishes, Thug previously stated in a Calvin Klein video advertisement that he does not believe in gender.
“You could be a gangster with a dress, you could be a gangster with baggy pants,” he says. “I feel like there’s no such thing as gender.”
